INSSIEME WINE IGT TOSCANA
This wine is produced from a careful selection of Sangiovese 45%, 40% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc grapes.
After a long fermentation in cement vats, the wine is transferred into French oak barrels for about 14 months until completely ripe, to then continue the aging in bottle for at least 10 months.
It has a beautiful intense ruby red color with violet reflections.
On the nose intense fruity scents of black berry fruits (blackberry and blueberries) and ripe red fruits mixed with floral sensations of violet and spicy notes. In the background balsamic and mineral sensations and notes of undergrowth.
In the mouth a wide, sweet taste, of great volume and softness, with well structured tannins, ripe and crunchy. Intense and sweet fruity sensations, fused with a peppery spice and toasted coffee and chocolate notes. Long, sweet and persistent aftertaste.
OUR SOMMELIER SAYS
“Try to describe this wine is very difficult.. you have to taste it and everything will appear extremely clear to you, and it is not rhetoric.
I only say that in January 2018 this wine participated in a blind tasting with the so-called Supertuscan wines more famous and emblazoned: I speak about Ornellaia, Sassicaia, Guado al Tasso, Solaia and Tignanello. Well, Insieme Wine ranked second in the dark tasting, led by sommeliers, technicians, journalists and wine marketing experts. Did I persuade you to taste it?
A gem not to be missed: taste it after drinking a good coffee… It will surprise you! “
